« backThe diagnostic kit for the detection of CTCs and of micrometastatic affection of lymphatic nodes in breast cancer patients is based on the detection of the expression of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and mamaglobin 1 (MGB1) in periferial blood, bone-marrow or lymphatic nodules of the patients. The kit contains primers and probes for both markers including standards for an absolute quantification of gene expression. Samples with marker expression higher than the cut-off value are considered CTCs positive.
